I had the pleasure of working with Bruce and Sheri at Preferred Real Estate when I bought my first home back in 2010. As a first-time homebuyer, I was completely oblivious to the process of looking for and closing on a home. At that time, I had been working with a different realtor who was only concerned about showing his listings. Luckily, I walked into Preferred Real Estate and after speaking to them about what I was looking for; they provided a list of prospective houses to review. They showed me so many homes before I settled on the perfect one (which incidentally was not even their listing)…Bruce and Sheri were very accommodating and walked me through every step of the way. They even loaned me a hand truck to move my belongings after I closed!Earlier this year when I decided to relocate, it was obvious whom I was going to use for the sale of my existing home and the purchase of my new home. Again, I was delighted with their service. They are very knowledgeable of the market and were right on target with the value of my home while still allowing for an expeditious closing. They were very good at marketing my home for sale – the photos captured the charm of the home perfectly and Sheri’s write-up perfectly described the home…it almost made me want to keep it!They also guided me with the strategy for submitting an offer for my existing home that was accepted by the seller, but also gave me an instant $20k in equity after it closed!Both the sale of my old home and the purchase of my new home happened exactly within the timeframe we established at the beginning – and within two weeks of each other!I will definitely use Preferred Real Estate as my agent if the opportunity arises again.
